Correct or Amend a Record Making Changes Corrections and amendments to vital records are governed by the Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S. § 36-323, A.R.S. § 36-337) and Arizona Administrative Codes (A.A.C R9-19 Health Services Chapter PDF ). The Maricopa County Office of Vital Registration must abide by these laws when making amendments and corrections.
